Working with a Virtual Assistant can be incredibly rewarding; however, it does often take an initial time commitment from you also.
Here are 3 things you can do to ensure that it works out with your Virtual Assistant:
1) Plan
One main reason things don’t work out with a VA is that it’s not clear exactly what they are needed for and what the outcome should be.
Spend time planning exactly what tasks you can give your VA and make sure you can clearly communicate the desired outcome to your VA.
That way your VA knows the goal and can focus on delivery without bothering you too much!
2) Do your due diligence
There are many different VAs out there who have different strengths and experiences.
Spend some time working out what type of VA you need and check that their experience is aligned.
If you’re not sure what type of VA you need, working with a VA agency can be great, as they can help identify who would work well for you
3) Be available
As business owners, we are often time-poor and the thought of having someone asking questions can fill us with anxiety because we don’t have time to answer questions.
If you’re available at the beginning of your working relationship for questions that investment should pay off over time if you’re working with the right VA.
